Tulip 'Copex Cairo'
- Good for Cutting
- Perfect for Pots
Bringing a mellow subtlety to proceedings that can sometimes be lost with bolder, brasher coloured tulips ‘Copex Cairo’ is, for me, a cut above
Lending itself to warm, exotic planting schemes the almost striated petals, veined in the most delicate way, invite a closer look.
Flowers reliably from April into May, just as the borders burst back into life. A rarely grown variety that’s bound to pique interest.
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
