With statuesque, towering spires, delphiniums are an eye-catching addition to any garden and make fabulous cut flowers too. They flower in the summer, usually in June and July, but will often have a second flush of blooms in August and September. Delphiniums are particularly well-suited to a cottage garden planting style but will work well in any border and look their best when planted in groups of three or more.
