Slug Nematodes are microscopic, transparent worms, which feed and multiply inside the slug

Safe to use around children, pets and wildlife, the nematodes are found naturally in the soil, you are just topping up the numbers by applying these.


Following application, the slugs stop feeding after a few days and die within a week. For total control apply every 6 weeks. Start your slug control early and apply at least a week before planting to ensure your garden is safe from slugs.


The nematodes come complete with instructions and can be applied using a watering can. You just apply to moist soil when the soil temperature is above 5ºC (41ºF) and ensure the soil does not dry out for at least two weeks after application. Nematodes are capable of surviving the odd frost; so don't worry if the temperature falls after you have applied.


Please note these are a live product and have an expiry date usually about 2 weeks - this product is non returnable. Use the whole pack before the expiry date. Best applied: Feb/March - October.
