Description
A delicious new introduction, this clear and cool, ice-blue salvia has large flowers from midsummer lasting almost until Christmas. What's particularly special about this hybrid is that it's very compact, with self-branching, bold, triangular foliage. This makes it ideal for container planting, but it's also fabulous in the border and, treated with just a little care over winter by way of a thick mulch and good drainage, it is likely to be perennial, too.
Care Tips
Protect young plants from frost and plant in a sunny, free-draining spot. Do not prune back in winter, keep current years growth and remove when new shoots appear. Mulch annually.
