Rosa ‘De Rêscht (Old Rose)
- Scented
- Good for Cutting
- Loved by Pollinators
A very neat deep-pink rose, with very double, pom-pom flowers, which has been around for decades, but hasn't been superseded
It is exceptionally healthy and repeats like anything, flowering for months at a stretch, with lovely scent and a good vase life. It makes a small bush, so ideal for the smaller garden.
This will flower well this year, and is ready for planting straight away.
All rose petals are edible. As you might expect, they have a mild, floral taste and can be used to decorate cakes, puddings or baking. They are also a beautiful, scented addition to jugs of iced cordial or summer cocktails.
