It's THE essential ingredient in Hungarian goulash and one of my favourite herbs for chopping into French dressing. Keep cutting back for fresh (not too strong) leaves or allow to grow to its nearly two-metre full height when adding to a mixed border. It has elegant umbellifer flowers.
