Description
A brand-new kale variety which I’d love to claim (from its name) is mine, but that would be a lie. It’s brilliant for its small scale which makes it ideal for the front of the veg garden path (as here) and ideal for growing in yard veg patches in a pot. Crops all year – snap the leaves off the central stem and more grow back.
Care Tips
Grows best on soil which has been manured the previous autumn. Protect against cabbage white butterflies with fine netting. Firm the soil well around plant base to prevent wind rock and provide stakes to support tall plants in autumn.
