Description
Totally innovative and truly unique: the first dwarf 'Annabelle' type hydrangea in the world! Ideal for small gardens, front of borders and superb in containers.
The series of three colours boasts large flowers on strong stout stems, blooming from early summer to late autumn. See also Hydrangea arborescens 'BellaRagazza Mauvette' and Hydrangea arborescens 'BellaRagazza Blanchetta'. The buds of Limetta open from a sharp green in July and gradually fade to a pale to ivory-lime as they open. Pick or deadhead and it flowers until winter. Also great cut and dried at the end of the year.
Care Tips
Remove faded flowerheads in spring after the danger of frosts, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds and take out misplaced or diseased shoots. Prune to the ground for a shorter, sturdier plant or less harshly for a taller plant.
