Plants still produce large flowers on strong stout stems, with the buds opening from a pale pink in July and gradually fading to a pure white as they open. Pick or deadhead and it flowers until winter. Also great cut and dried at the end of the year.
Care Tips
Remove faded flowerheads in spring after the danger of frosts, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds and take out misplaced or diseased shoots. Prune to the ground for a shorter, sturdier plant or less harshly for a taller plant.
