Description

A pagoda fritillary from the dry country in the Middle East, I saw groves of something looking very like this in the grassy hills of northern Jordan in Spring 2019 and have been wanting to grow a persica-style fritillary as wonderful ever since. We’ve now trialled this for enough years to know it flowers reliably unlike many in the persica group.

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Care Tips

Choose a suitable location in a border that will get plenty of warm sunlight in summer, they love scorched and free-draining soil. After flowering has ended, wait until the leaves and stem turn yellow, after which it can be cut off at the base.
