Driven by the Chelsea Flower Show in May, I’m so happy to see that iris of all shapes and sizes are having a well-deserved Renaissance and particularly with these Dutch style bulbs (not rhizomes), they have been flowering well in the garden here now, the same bulbs for well over twenty years. - Plant bulbs 15cm deep and 1cm apart in groups. If your soil is heavy you can incorporate grit into the bottom of the planting hole.
Care Tips
Water in well after planting. Old flower stems and any dying foliage can be cut back in autumn. Apply a mulch of garden compost or well-rotted manure in spring. Caution: harmful if eaten.
