Description
An eye-catching Alpine Wood Fern with croziers that unfurl bronze and copper before turning a glossy bright green. Easy to grow to add an understorey layer to a shady border. Will fade away in autumn then re-emerge in the spring. Ferns are also brilliant for urban gardens to give the effect of a tropical jungle or a shaded woodland glen.
Care Tips
Improve poor soil with a rich mulch and don’t let the soil dry out in summer. Plants dislike direct sunlight this will cause the foliage to appear bleached. Remove dead or damaged fronds as necessary.
