Dog Wood Hedging
- Loved by Garden Birds
- Loved by Pollinators
- Good for Cutting
Quite a modest and inconspicuous variety for much of the year but come autumn it bursts into life with rich autumnal leaf colours and flaming orangey-red stems
Our UK grown hedging plants are supplied as cell-grown saplings ready for immediate planting into their final positions. Cell-grown plants are known to have high establishment success rates with rapid early growth and are uniform and compact in size for quick and easy planting.
As a guide, use 5 plants per metre length. 5 plants will cover a 1m length, 10 plants will cover a 2m length, and 20 plants will cover a 4m length. When planting, set out in a zig-zag style to encourage a thick and bushy hedge.
