This is such a gorgeous shrub to have in your garden. The dense, evergreen foliage is a lush and vibrant green, but the umbels of sweetly perfumed yellow flowers are the main reason for growing it. They appear in late winter and again in late summer, followed by slender seed pods. Plant in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot or grow in a pot for a conservatory or greenhouse to fill it with perfume for much of winter.

Care Tips
