- Sow under cover from March-May. Sow seeds thinly. Don’t cover seeds with soil, they need light and warmth (18-26 degrees) to germinate (7-10 days). Pot on and plant out after the frosts, space/thin 40cm (16in). Can sow direct in April/May.
