Description

Wisteria sinensis 'Amethyst' is a hugely floriferous wisteria, with flowers well before the leaves, so that you see them bright and clear.

It has a powerful fragrance, lovely drifting in through open windows and doors. 'Amethyst' is a beautiful rosy mauve.

Care Tips

Plants will dry out quickly, especially in a light or sandy soil, so keep well watered, particularly when newly planted and during dry periods. For best flowering pruning should be done carefully in summer and again in winter.
