Try rubbing the leaves between your hands are you get a sort of lather – hence its name soapwort, traditionally used for washing fabric. It’s scented, pretty and easy to grow, definitely one of our showiest, most garden worthy wildflowers.

Care Tips

Soapwort is a very tough, quick to establish plant that readily self-seeds. You can deadhead blooms once they have died out to encourage more blooms.
