- Sow in a warm place in spring, summer or autumn (avoid the hottest months as above 20°C can prevent germination). Cover seed lightly. Pot on seedlings individually and grow on in a cooler place. Plant out when roots have filled the pots or modules.
Care Tips
In pots give a balanced liquid feed every 2-3 weeks. Deadhead or pick regularly to prolong flowering and maintain a compact shape. If plants become leggy, a mid-season chop in July to 5cm (2in) above ground-level will help promote bushy re-growth.
