Cultivation
Plant the corms 10cm apart and 10-15cm deep in clumps or lines. For containers, you can pack them in more closely. Plant a few every couple of weeks to give a succession of flowers through the summer and autumn.

Description

It's hard to beat this classy mixture of the three most superb textured and coloured gladioli.

The corm collection includes 15 or 30 corms each of:
  • Gladiolus 'Evergreen'
  • Gladiolus 'Plum Tart'
  • Gladiolus 'Purple Flora'

There's nothing Dame Edna about these.

The petals are edible, they have a very mild flavour and can be used to decorate puddings and cakes

Care Tips

Water regularly and stake tall varieties. Lift after first frosts. If you're growing in containers, stop watering at the end of summer and bring the pots indoors for the winter. Leave them in their pots or take them out and dry.
