This wonderfully flamboyant tulip, ‘Amazing Parrot’ perfectly compliments the bright jewel-like wallflowers

We had this duo, growing together all along one side of the cutting garden and could pick several bunches a week — a perfect combination of colour, texture and scent.

This collection contains:
  • 10 bulbs of Tulip 'Amazing Parrot'
  • 3 x 9cm pots of Erysimum 'Red Jep'

    • Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.

    Cultivation
    Don’t plant tulips until mid-late October. Plant pointy end up 10-15cm deep, 8cm apart in borders (less in containers). You can use a mycorrhizal Bulb Starter.

    Care Tips

    After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
