Description
If you're going to grow your own tomatoes you want them to be exceptionally good, and they do require a lot of watering. Here are my must haves, sweet, form and fantastically tasty.
This collection contains:
- Two seedlings of Costoluto Fiorentino – A medium-sized, delicious, juicy Italian variety which grows and crops very reliably here. Best under cover, or against a south facing wall
- One seedling of Green Zebra – Gold and green skinned tomato which looks beautiful in amongst the other colours and has a good strong flavour
- Two seedlings of Stupicke Polni Rane – My favourite in my taste trial at the marvellous Worton Organic Farm shop. Delicious, very long and heavy cropping type with good blight resistance
Care Tips
Under cover or outside they need staking, regular watering and weekly feeding for best results. Pinch out side shoots as they develop and then pinch out the tops once they have set 5 or 6 trusses.
