- If planting in open ground, plant 8cm deep, 8cm apart, ideally in drifts. They may need to be lifted and divided every few years. In a container plant bulbs pointy end up, 1-2cm apart, layer bulbs if room is tight.
Care Tips
After the first year lift and divide bulbs out of the container and transfer a percentage into the ground or other containers. This will help prevent the original container becoming congested.
