Description
A fiery, glamorous mix of flame oranges and golds all flecked and striped with smoky crimson which also washes over the stems. I love this early brigade of tulips underplanted with wallflowers or forget-me-nots in a true Keukenhof way. Brilliant for picking too.
This collection contains 15 or 30 bulbs each of:
- Tulip 'Prinses Irene'
- Tulip 'Pretty Princess'
- Tulip 'Hermitage'
Tulip petals are all edible. We scatter them over salad and use some petals dipped in tempura batter and served with a spring garden Frito Misto.
Care Tips
After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
