These crushed and washed whelk shells are a fantastic alternative to grit and work as a highly effective slug repellent

Mix into your soil or compost to aid drainage, or scatter a layer around the base of plants to keep slugs at bay.

Choose from 3.75L, 12L bag, 2 x 2L or 18L bags.
  • Recommended coverage as slug repellent: 20-30mm layer around the base of plants.
  • Water gently to avoid washing the shell away.
