Description
In the softer pastel-toned club of salvias, we use this to under-plant our pink roses (‘Felicia’, Rose de Resht and even the apricot and pink R. mutabilis) to protect against Blackspot or mildew. Also a super-pollinator plant.
Care Tips
A salvia that needs well drained conditions through winter. Do not prune back in winter, keep current years growth and remove when new shoots appear. Protect young plants from late frosts and mulch annually with well-rotted manure or garden compost
