At Christmas, sweet-smelling hyacinths are ideal, their striking flowers are bold and architectural with an interesting silhouette. 'White Pearl' has a fantastic scent and I love it here potted up in our vintage silver hurricane glass, topped with moss. Silver to me is the colour of a happy Christmas - I love the sharpness and brightness it brings. I'm scattering a few of these pots around my London house for a modern and crisp look.

Care Tips
When flowering, water often. You may get two flowers from each bulb. Once the first browns, cut down to soil level, making room for the next. After flowering, plant in the garden. They will revert to normal spring flowering times the following year.
