In our house, amaryllis is as much a sign of Christmas as the best bauble. They are one of our guaranteed indoor deliverers of colour – and they don’t need much TLC. Amaryllis bulbs also make a good Christmas present, especially deep velvet red varieties like 'Benefica’, looking especially glamorous here, potted up in this elegant hurricane glass pot.

Care Tips

A tender bulb from Brazil, which needs to be grown inside in a bright, warm, and sunny place. To make them last a second year, feed and water until the leaves die back and then allow to dry out and go dormant for about 8 weeks.
