If I had to select just one plant from all the container varieties we trialled at Perch Hill last summer (well over 100!), this would be it. It flowered from May until December, covered top to toe in carmine saucer flowers. It drew SO many comments.

Sow indoors February - April. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. Pot on and move to a cooler position before planting out after the last frosts.

Care Tips

Deadhead to prolong the flowering period. These will work well in a container pot in a sunny position. Water well in the first two weeks, to prevent the plant from drying out. Apply liquid fertiliser fortnightly to improve performance.
