Walking through our dahlia trials last summer I made myself choose my new favourites to pick for a vase

Here they are, each one bringing something glamorous, stylish and distinct to the party and the overall chance effect is wonderfully un-shouty and perfectly balanced. All with good vase lives.

Bulb collections and mixes – what’s the difference?


Collections are supplied with individual varieties packed into separate bags so they can be identified when planting out. Bulbs in our mixes are supplied jumbled together in one bag, to give a looser, more natural feel.

Care Tips

Pot up undercover in spring, place somewhere light and frost-free and keep moist. Pinch out growing tips at 20cm and plant out after last frosts. Alternatively plant straight into the ground when the frosts are nearly over.
