A garden classic my parents had at home 40 years ago, and still pretty much unparalleled, this in incredibly hardworking and trouble-free, penstemon with ruby tubular bells for months at a stretch

Care Tips
Leave the current seasons growth on over winter to provide protection and mulch around the base of the plant in autumn with compost or leaf mould. Cut back old growth in late spring as new shoots are appearing.
