Description
The foxglove, or empress tree, is a deciduous tree grown for its large leaves and panicles of scented, foxglove-shaped flowers in late spring. It's fast growing and takes well to being coppiced to keep it in check and to make their leaves even bigger and more impressive. Choose a sheltered spot with well-drained soil to get the best results.
Care Tips
Protect young trees from frost. Little or no pruning required but can be pollarded after year two to encourage large leaves.
