A trio of edibles growing in the kitchen garden at Perch Hill planted now to provide plentiful harvests right through autumn and winter. All three of these are reliably hardy and will survive frost, snow and torrential rain to give countless delicious meals. They are cut-and-come-again, even the kalettes which you twist off the stem to harvest — and they regrow.

Care Tips
Plant in nutrient rich, moist, deep soil that has had plenty of well-rotted manure applied the previous Autumn. Protect against Cabbage White butterflies with fine netting.
