One of the best-known and most architectural of house plants, with large leaves that appear to have notches taken out of them. The Swiss cheese plant is a climber originating from tropical forests in Central America but seems to be perfectly happy in our homes. Photographed here in Green Daisy Pot. Caution for pets.
Likes a well-lit place out of direct summer sun. Let compost dry slightly between watering. Needs a support to climb up (a mossy stick is ideal for aerial roots to root into). Plants grow fast and need repotting every 2 years. Wipe dust from leaves.
