- Direct sow in lines or blocks, or under cover for winter cropping. You can speed the germination process up in spring by sowing into a length of guttering under cover and transplanting outside.
Care Tips
Thin or space plants 10-15cm for cut-and-come-again, 20cm if you want large leaves. Keep moist. It may get infested with flea beetle, April-August leaving lots of tiny holes all over the leaves. Protect with a physical barrier of fleece from sowing.
