- Sow spring or autumn on the surface of moist seed compost. Cover thinly and place in a cold frame, or a sheltered position outside. May require a few cycles of warm weather followed by cooler conditions, before germination occurs.
Care Tips
Prefers a deep, moist and fertile soil in a sheltered, partially shaded position – ideal for a woodland border.
