Description
Strong, vigorous, and brilliant for adding some pizazz to summer borders. The flowers may only last for a day, but they come in rapid succession for several months at a stretch. Incredibly versatile and tolerant of poorer soils. Flowers are edible too, for scattering over salads, or even stuffing and using as Frito Misto in tempura batter.
Care Tips
New growth in spring and flower buds in summer may need protection from slugs and snails. Once established, large plants can be easily divided in spring.
