A deliciously scented ground cover plant which will spread naturally underground, and is well suited to shady or woodland areas
The dried leaves of Galium odoratum can be used in syrups, jellies, teas and for flavouring milk based drinks and dishes with a vanilla and almond-like flavour. The flowers, harvested fresh, are sweet tasting and can be used for garnishes.
You can use the flowers as an edible garnish on salads.
