Galanthus nivalis is the straight-up, wild species snowdrop, with silvery-green leaves and neat, slim flowers. Quick to get established if lifted and divided in the green (when it is in active growth and even flowering) on almost any soil, in sun or partial shade.

- Plant bulbs in autumn or plants in the green in spring. Plant so that bulbs are 10 deep in small groups.
Care Tips
Divide when plants are in the green (just after flowering and before the leaves yellow). Dig deep under large clumps to lift then split by hand into smaller clumps and plant at the same depth.
