Entered into this year’s RHS Chelsea flower show plant of the year competition this breakthrough foliage colour in Delosperma is from renowned Japanese breeder Koichiro Nishikawa. Perfectly suited to hot dry summers, with very little need for watering and feeding, making them ideal solutions for eco-friendly, less demanding patio containers or well drained south facing borders as a colourful ground cover.

The vibrant red foliage against the dazzling floral display will not stop all summer even through periods of extreme heat and drought. These semi-evergreen perennials are hardy and low maintenance, providing a long-lasting spectacle that's sure to captivate.

Care Tips

Ensure your plant is put in a well-drained area of your garden that gets plenty of sun. Ensure your plant gets some watering during prolonged droughts. Cut back faded flowers to encourage new blooms.
