- Sow under cover from March. Sow each seed vertically (to prevent rotting) into individual 7.5cm pots. Harden off and plant them out 30cm apart after the risk of frost has passed. May also be sown direct where they are to grow from mid-May.
Care Tips
These will grow well outside or in a greenhouse. They are climbers so give some support. Water well, and dig in a good lot of compost when planting out. Once cucumbers start to form, apply a liquid feed (e.g. tomato fertiliser) once a week.
