Description
Both featuring small flowers, these two plants go well together in a pastel garden thanks to the yellow and white flowers. A really pretty combination.
This collection contains 1 x 2L pot each of:
- Clematis recta 'Purpurea'
- Sisyrinchium striatum
Autumn is the perfect season for planting out biennials, perennials, shrubs, and climbers. Soils retain some warmth from summer and moisture levels are on the rise thanks to the autumn rains. These conditions are ideal for quick and early root establishment ensuring plants settle in before winter arrives. They will then be off to a flying start next spring with rapid growth and copious amounts of flowers.
Care Tips
Sisyrinchium grows well in full sun and well-drained soil, with protection from excessive winter wet. It will self-seed. The clematis is pruning group 3 - prune hard in late winter. Mulch in late winter with well-rotted manure or garden compost.
