Description

A fern with remarkable silvery grey foliage, Chelianthes lanosa or ‘Hairy lip fern’ is drought-tolerant, so able to withstand the summer heat and looks good all year long. Plant at the front of a border in dappled shade, or in pots and containers.

Care Tips

This plant won't tolerate wet winter weather. Grow in sharply-drained, gritty, humus-rich soil in full sun, with protection from winter rain.
