Description
The backbone of all mixed hedge plantings with showy clouds of white blossom in early spring, adored by early pollinators, followed by rich, inky dark fruits in autumn – these are perfect for making wine, preserves and the rather scrummy sloe gin.
Our UK grown hedging plants are supplied as cell-grown saplings ready for immediate planting into their final positions. Cell-grown plants are known to have high establishment success rates with rapid early growth and are uniform and compact in size for quick and easy planting.
As a guide, use 5 plants per metre length. When planting, set out in a zig-zag style to encourage a thick and bushy hedge.
