Description

As more and more of us are living in towns and cities, with minimal growing space, we’ve been trialling varieties to find the best pot-happy forms of our favourite veg. Sow these all at once in spring, for spring to winter picking, or spread their sowing out, so you have kale and chard to pick and eat from autumn to spring and runner beans and courgettes from summer to autumn.

Care Tips

Keep well-watered and apply a mulch to help keep soil moist. Kale needs staking and netting to protect from cabbage white fly. Feed courgettes with tomato feed to prevent mildew.
