Description
The three clear front runners in our chrysanth trial last year — a great combination of colour and shape growing together in a sunny corner and picked through autumn. This picture was shot on 18th November, when the rest of the garden is pretty sparse.
This collection contains: - 4 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Bigoudi Red'
- 3 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Tula Improved'
- 3 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Spider Bronze'
Chrysanthemum petals can be scattered onto salads. If brewed into tea, they have a flavour similar to chamomile.
Care Tips
Pot up rooted cuttings and grown on in a bright, frost-free place. Early-flowering varieties can be hardened off and planted out in May. Later ones are best planted in large pots so they can be outside in summer but moved indoors in autumn.
