Description

These double spurless, upward facing aquilegias remind me of a Ballerina’s tutu with intense rich violet-blue blooms, showy for the late spring/early summer shady border and lovely and elegant picked for a vase. It's a very reliable variety which will self-seed, and performs well in dappled shade.

Care Tips

Cut back leaves in autumn. Aquilegias can self seed in the right conditions, to prevent this cut down after flowering.
