- Sow direct in spring or early autumn, sowing thinly in rows 30cm (12in) apart, or in a noughts and crosses grid. Lightly cover seeds with soil. Thin to 30cm (12in). Sow indoors March-April in modules/trays 5cm (2in) apart.
Care Tips
Water regularly until established. Keep picking or deadhead to ensure flowers until the first frosts. For stronger plants sow in autumn and over winter. Great for cut flowers and growing in the border or pots.
