Plant of the year winner 2023 Agapanthus Black Jack was picked out by RHS judges as the finest plant introduction of 2023

Renowned for it deep black buds that develop into tremendous velvety inflorescences of purple flower heads.

Coming from the ‘Everpanthus®’ series, means it delivers long lasting flower heads in abundance reblooming over a much longer period of time than seen before in similar examples in the genus, expect to see dense multiple blooms form midsummer all the way into British autumn.

Black Jack Agapanthus has excellent garden performance, eventually reaching around 1m high and 70 cm wide, making it a great choice as a statement feature in the perennial border, patio pots or big mixed containers.

This undemanding perennial is heat and drought tolerant, making it perfect for dry, sunny, exposed locations where it creates a bold, architectural statement and is adored by bees and butterflies.

On occasion we may need to send you an alternative variety to the one shown, which will be selected by our growing team to ensure its suitability. It will be of equal or greater value to the original. Please contact our customer service team if there are any problems.
