To aid quick establishment, sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water well after planting. Displays are much more effective when planted in groups of 3 or more to give an established look. |
Care Tips | Deadhead to encourage further blooms, otherwise leave alone to establish. It's natural habitat is on hillsides and field edges. |

Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Paul Plants have grown and flowered well, they could do with strong supports in early as they flop easily. |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Dorothy Lovely. Bought this for a new shady bed and it has bulked up beautifully. A vibrant blue amongst mostly white flowering plants |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Kathryn Bit disappointing but think it’s my fault as they have had a very wet summer and windy. Very leafy - no flowers |

Arrived looking in very good condition but unfortunately didn’t thrive for long in my garden. |
Hardy perennial
Reviewed 9th July 2018 by Avis Humphries Bought this plant last year but despite it being hardy did not come back this year. I know it was a harsh winter but it was in a fairly protected walled border. |

The two stars is because I had a packet of seeds on two separate occasions and didn't get a single plant from either of the packets! |
Most glorious colour
Reviewed 3rd October 2016 by Pauline Oakley I added this plant to my border this spring and wow! What an amazing hit of colour it is. It flowered for ages and has subsequently spread a lot, so am looking forward to a bigger display next year. So pleased I shall be ordering some more for another part of garden. |
