Three new found favourite chrysanthemums which we picked together from the garden.
I loved them so much, we then lifted them and brought the trio into the greenhouse to replace the tomatoes, where they flowered happily until Christmas. An unmissable threesome.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | If you have a greenhouse, rooted cuttings of outdoor varieties can be potted on in early spring and grown on in a well-ventilated greenhouse or conservatory. When the roots have filled the pot, which should be around April, they can be potted on and moved to a cold frame. Plant into their final positions outside from early May, spacing them 45-60cm (18-24in) apart. Indoor varieties can be planted directly into soil beds in the greenhouse; space them 30-40cm apart and water in well. Alternatively, on arrival they can be treated the same as outdoor varieties. In early June, transplant into their final pots (20cm-23cm (8-9in) in diameter), and move them outside until around the end of September, at which point they should be moved into a frost-free greenhouse. |
Care Tips | After planting, water generously for 1-2 weeks so the plants get well established. Apply a balanced liquid feed every two weeks from midsummer until the flower buds start to appear. They will require supporting with a cane and tying in as they grow. After flowering, cut back the main stem to about 20cm (8in), lift the shortened plants and overwinter in a frost-free place. |

I bought many plants this past year, but I refer here in particular to the Christmas chrysanthemums I bought in the hope of having fresh flowers for Christmas. I followed instructions re planting and maintenance carefully. There was a magnificent display the first fortnight of November, which I duly harvested, but I'm afraid they have not produced any further flowers -- apart from just two pink flowers that are now out. That is very little from ten plants. It appears they will not be in flower for Christmas. |
Reviewed 22nd November 2018 by David the service was excellent with goods arriving on time. As per the catalogue the chrysanthemums are still blooming away in my greenhouse providing cut flowers |

Good quality plants, great choice good colour combinations, did really well dispite the challenge of keeping them watered this summer. |

Reviewed 3rd November 2018 by Yvonne Service was good and the plants are healthy and growing well. Two of the three plants in the Christmas Collection we bought are in flower now (late October) but, sadly, the Pandium Bronze shows no buds or any sign of flowering yet. |
Reviewed 1st November 2018 by Maria Lovely flowers on sturdy plants. These are Avignon Pink. |
